This title came to me in a dream. I was in a record store and came upon a Poco album of that name. Of course, there is no Poco album of that name. After that, the story just kind of wrote itself.

Guitars, bass: René Gely; Vocals, drums, organ: DNO

Lyrics

Takin' good love for granted, that's how I came to fall

Once I hsd a woman
She loved me like a wife
We started us a family
We were set for love for life.

But a fling one night in a local bar,
With a dancer from Montreal
She found out about it
That's how I came to fall.

Used to have a good job
I was really, really on the rise
A kid with big ambitions
You could see it in my eyes

But with worrying about my family
I wasn't always on the ball
My star began descending
That's how I came to fall.

Now I was fine till I let my mind
Wander to rest no more
Now my heart is cold and it feels like my soul
Is out beggin' from door to door.

Sitting here, behind this beer
Thinking about it all
Taking good love for granted
That's how I came to fall.

Well I was on the wagon
But the wagon didn't roll for me
Still I knew the barroom
Was not the place to be.

Weeks went by, and I was dry
'Til one day my little girl called
I let it all get to me
That's how I came to fall.

Well I was fine till I let my mind
Wander to rest no more
Now my heart is cold and it feels like my soul
Is out beggin' from door to door.

Sitting here, behind this beer
Thinking about it all
Taking good love for granted
That's how I came to fall.

Sitting here, with no one near
Talkin' to my alcohol
Taking good love for granted
That's how I came to fall.

Taking good love for granted
That's how I came to fall.
